The Horror from the Hills is a horror novel by author Frank Belknap Long. Part of the Cthulhu Mythos, it concerns the elephantine Great Old One Chaugnar Faugn. The novel was originally serialized in Weird Tales magazine. It appeared in the January and February–March, 1931 issues. Long also incorporated a dream of H.P. Lovecraft into the novel, using Lovecraft's description nearly verbatim and with his permission.
Book is solid and clean; black binding cloth is clean and shiny; boards are unbumped and corners sharp; gilt lettering on spine is bright; pages are clean and bright.
Dust jacket front is clean and bright; flaps are clean and bright with minor toning along flap folds; original price ($3.00) is unclipped; rear cover is clean and bright but shows some smudging along flap fold.
Overall, this is a fine copy of the book in a near fine dust jacket.
