From the personal collection of former science fiction/fantasy publisher and bibilophine Oswald Train - I purchased it from him some years before his death at a time when he was paring down his collection. The book carries his personalized bookplate inside the front cover, with the data 5/19/52 added in pencil on the bottom edge of the bookplate.

CONDITION
Book is solid and clean; black binding cloth is clean, bright, and unblemished; all corners are sharp; gilt lettering on spine is age darkened and is partially worn away; pages are clean and bright.

Dust jacket front is clean, bright, and unblemished; flaps are clean and bright with original price ($3.00) unclipped; top and bottom of flaps are age yellowed; spine is age yellowed; minor small chips and tears at top and bottom of spine; small chip at top of front fold; rear cover is clean, with yellowing along spine edge.

Overall, this is a fine copy of the book in a very good + dust jacket.
