The Phantom-Fighter is a collection of supernatural detective short stories by author Seabury Quinn. The stories are about Quinn's detective Jules de Grandin and were originally published in the magazine Weird Tales.
Book is solid and clean; black binding cloth is shiny but shows minor smudging front and back; gilt lettering on spine is bright but slightly darkened; bottom of spine is lightly bmped; small dark stain along top inside edge of front board; pages are clean and fairly bright, with age-yellowed edges
Dust jacket front is clean, fairly bright, and unblemished; flaps are clean and fairly bright with original price ($5.00) unclipped; rear shows minor toning and wear, plus darkening in an offset rectangular pattern (as if it rested back cover upwards with a smaller book sitting askew on it); rear flap fold is darkened and shows some wear.
Overall, this is a near fine copy of the book with a very good dust jacket.CONTENTS
