The Black Wolf is a horror novel by Galad Elflandsson. It is a fun, well-crafted horror tale that fits in well with the Lovecraft mythos, or with the works of Robert Chambers or Ambrose Bierce. It's an attractive, well-illustrated book, and should be a part of the werewolf fan's essential library. The novel was reprinted in paperback by Centaur Books in 1980.
