Sam Moskowitz introduces this collection of Hodgson's stories with a 15,000-word acount of how Hodgson's sister Lissie handled the literary estate following the death of Hodgson's widow Bessie in 1943. This supplements his earlier biographies published in Out of the Storm (1975) and The Haunted Pampero. Moskowitz also provides introductions to each story, coupled with detailed accounts of those magazines to which Hodgson contributed - a must for the serious collector. This special illustrated collection contains fourteen rare tales.
